I am a PhD researcher in Linguistics at the University of Lisbon's Center for Linguistics (CLUL). My research focuses on language variation in creole speech communities characterized by language contact, obsolescence and endangerment.
I primarily draw on empirical insights from Sri Lanka Portuguese, an endangered Portuguese-based creole spoken by c. 1300 speakers in the Northern and Eastern provinces of Sri Lanka.
